AFAC Membership

AFAC has four member categories:

1. Permanent board
   • Non-profit agriculture / livestock organizations only
   • Must be approved by the board
   • Permanent board member reps (or board directors) vote at all board and AGM mtgs
   • Minimum membership is $300 plus GST
     
2. Active
   • Non-profit agriculture / livestock organizations only
   • Must be approved by the board
   • Permanent board member reps (or board directors) vote only at the AGM meeting
   • There are two position on the board of directors for Active members (Directors at Large)
   • Minimum membership is $300 plus GST
3. Associate
   • Individuals, veterinarian clinics, small groups like agriculture societies
   • There are no voting privileges.
   • Minimum membership is $50 plus GST
4. Corp agribusiness
   • Large meat companies, food companies
   • There are no voting privileges.
   • Minimum membership is $300 plus GST

Permanent and Active members get regular updates and notices from AFAC, that are often species or industry specific. All members get the AFAC Update and Livestock Welfare INSIGHTS, notification of upcoming conferences, events and programs and more.
